IBHS is pleased to announce this year's conference qualifies for eight continuing education credits for CPCUs through the American Institute for CPCU.

This year's agenda is packed with interesting speakers addressing topics affecting the insurance industry. Alex Soto, president of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (Big "I") and of InSource Inc., Miami, Fla., will deliver the keynote address. Other speakers include Dr. Lucille Jones with the U.S. Geological Survey's Multi-Hazards Initiative; Dr. Robert Hartwig, president of the Insurance Information Institute, and Dr. Sarah McCaffrey, a wildfire mitigation expert with the U.S. Forest Service. Four workshops also will be offered to highlight the latest trends in residential and commercial property protection, mitigating losses in oil heat storage and how to make the most of an IBHS membership.
